Box Within a Box
It is not that easy to understand
that which exists in a box
within a box within a box within
a box. Where you think it ends
is but its beginning.
I usually try to steer clear of any stereotypes but for the sake of convenience and expediency I have to use them now and again. I've been called by some people artsy (why else would I be on this site!), literary (one of my dearest passions), and an academic (I will not despute it.). But despite these labels and many others besides sometimes people fail to connect the dots, namely that I am not just one label but labels upon labels upon labels--that each label alone does not represent who I am but taken together they just might (there is some truth in some of the stereotypes given to us after all.). If you really want to know me, the best way is through my art as I firmly believe that art is the soul's expression captured on paper, pen, or CD-ROM (or whatever other media used).
Tools of my trade: Adobe Photoshop CS (what would I do without you), ArtRage 1.0 and Apophysis 2.0.2 (shaping up to be great tools), Corel Draw Graphics Suite, My COMPAQ and my graphics tablet(again, what would I do without you), pen and paper (or canvas), scissors and glue (what I first learned to do art with), paints (gouache, watercolor, acrylic--not oil because it stinks too much), oil pastels, charcoal pencils, and pentel pens (for when I decide to do traditional art). And last but not the least my BRAIN (otherwise I'd be dead or worse--uninspired).

If there's anything I've learned through all this...practice helps (so true).
